Information ACS collects
The website does not use an enquiry form, analytics or advertising trackers. If you email ACS, the information may include your name, organisation, role, contact details, message and any information you choose to provide. Hosting systems may also process limited technical logs needed for security and reliable delivery.
Why information is used
ACS uses enquiry information to review and respond to requests, assess whether ACS can help, take steps requested before entering a contract, maintain business records and protect its systems. The lawful bases are legitimate interests, steps before a contract and legal obligations where applicable.
Sharing and international transfers
Information is shared only where necessary with authorised ACS personnel and service providers supporting email, hosting, IT, professional advice or legal compliance. ACS does not sell personal information. Where a provider processes information outside the UK, ACS requires an applicable safeguard or another lawful transfer mechanism.
How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is reviewed and kept only while it remains necessary. Inactive or unsuccessful enquiries are normally deleted within 24 months of the last meaningful contact. If an enquiry becomes an engagement, relevant records are retained for the contractual, tax, insurance and legal periods that apply.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to processing, or receive portable information. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. ACS will explain if a right does not apply to a particular request.
